UK based qualification and skills development body, Advancing Business Education (ABE), has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing business education in Malawi and beyond.
This is coming at a time the body is commemorating 50 years of existence this year.
During celebrations held in Blantyre recently, the body awarded top performing students, teachers, and other notable figures in the education sector.
ABE Area Manager responsible for Malawi, South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, Doreen Maluk, said the 50-year journey has seen the institution grow to over 100 countries.
“I am happy to announce that this year we have hit another milestone by becoming an independent subsidiary of the Institute of Leadership which means we will be introducing more programs,” Maluk said.

One of the top paper awardees, Mervis Kaduya, expressed delight at being awarded, saying it was not easy to topple students in over 100 countries.
“My secret was hard work and believing in God that He gives us strength and wisdom to perform tasks beyond people’s imaginations and I am very happy with this,” Kaduya said.
