Airtel Malawi plc has declared a dividend of K38.5 billion to its shareholders, representing K3.50 per share.
This comes as profit-after-tax for the telecommunications company grew to K51.2 billion in 2025, from K42.7 billion the year before. The performance was driven primarily by higher operating profit and a reduction in net finance costs attributable to greater currency stability during the year, according to a statement the firm issued recently.
