Artists left no stone unturned on Sunday when they put up feisty acts, breathing life into the Zomba Ghetto Talent show held at Thundu Ground.
Close to 29 budding acts in the disciplines of music, dance and poetry starred at the first edition of the talent show.
Organisers of the talent show said they were impressed with the performances on the day, as well as the turnout.
One of the members of the organising team Rodney Rabson said they managed to give a platform to budding artists to showcase their works, adding that their aim is to unearth talent in the country.

“We are satisfied with what we have seen. This country is blessed with talent and in our quest to bring out the best, we thought of having the show free-of-charge,” Rabson, also known as Lipepedwa in the music sphere, said.
One of the artists who performed during the show, Kenneth Aligiza, better known as Trunke, called on creative managers to be signing budding artists with potential.
“We want managers to be considering roping in artists with talent so that they make it big in the music industry,” Trunken said.
