Gospel musician Bertha Nkhoma has reappeared after a four-year-break and has since promised to drop new songs on the market this year.
Nkhoma, who is now based in Salima, revealed that she will release her first song titled ‘Chipambano’ on April 1 2024.
“It’s been sometime but, as they say, God’s time is always the best and now this is the best time to release new songs. I invite people to listen to ‘Chipambano’, the first song I am releasing on the market; it is a song that has a message of hope to the hopeless,” she said.
“Challenges will always be there but we should not give up. God will take us through,” she said.

Nkhoma, who was also vibrant whenever it came to live performances in the past years, made headlines with her album titled Chowuluka in 2014.
“Music for me is a ministry. Apart from using it to preach the word of God to the masses, I also use music to tackle issues affecting society and bring about change,” she said.
Nkhoma last released an album in 2021 titled Gwada Pansi.
Some of her other albums include Dziko Ndichoncho, Ndizazikhuthura and Driver Wanga.
