Blantyre Synod of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) has come out with claims that it owns Blantyre Secondary School (BSS).
BSS is a national secondary school.
However, Blantyre City Council officials have said the school belongs to the Government of Malawi, through the Ministry of Education.
On Sunday, the synod’s general secretary (GS) Anderson Juma told congregants at Nkowa CCAP Church in Blantyre that its members should know that the school belongs to the church.
