The Malawi Police Service (MPS) has arrested former minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale and former Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba for alleged misconduct.
Kawale spent a night in police custody after he was arrested on Monday.
MPS spokesperson Lael Chimtembo confirmed that Kawale surrendered himself to the authorities after learning that police officers were looking for him.
