Blantyre Water Board (BWB) has said it is los­ing close to K5 bil­lion every month due to illegal water con­nec­tions and non-rev­enue water. BWB Chief Exec­ut­ive Officer Yelemia Chi­hana dis­closed this after the board inspec­ted Port­land Cement Malawi Lim­ited’s premises in Makata Indus­trial Area over an alleged illegal water con­nec­tion.
