Despite conceding the goal, Civil kept piling pressure which the hosts luckily contained. Bullets breathed a lifeline when Nkhoma turned into a provider, setting up Phodo to score his team’s second goal in the 66th minute.
Civil made a double substitution introducing Luke Chima and Festus Duwe for Lloyd Aaron and Binwell Katinji respectively.
As the Capital City giants were attacking in numbers, they were left frustrated when Kelvin Kadzinje was red carded after denying Hassan Kajoke a goal scoring opportunity.
Kajoke then put the game beyond Civil’s reach when he scored his team’s third goal.
