CDH Investment Bank on Wednesday donated K7.9 million to Beit Cure Children’s Hospital as part of its efforts to improve children’s health in the country.
CDH Investment Bank Chief Treasury Officer Zondwayo Mafuleka said the bank values partnerships and teamwork and is proud to support the hospital to conduct seven life-changing surgeries.
“CDH Investment Bank recognises that people with disabilities make a positive contribution towards the achievement of social and economic development goals. To that extent, the bank is committed to helping the health sector in creating an environment conducive for inclusive development,” he said.
Mafuleka said the bank appreciates the hospital’s commendable work in treating children with orthopedic needs.
Beit Cure International Hospital Executive Director Elly Chemey thanked CDH Investment Bank for the support.

“We are grateful for partners like CDH Investment Bank who have always come through and supported Beit Cure in a variety of ways over the years. The bank was first to commit to the surgeries and donated above platinum level which will help more children,” Chemey said.
He then called for more support from other institutions.
The hospital has raised about K80 million out of its K105 million target to help 70 children.
