China is set to write off two debts for Malawi worth a combined $20 million (about K35 billion) which matured last year, Chinese Ambassador Lu Xu said Monday.
The debt relief is on top of a $206 million debt restructuring package that the Asian nation extended to Malawi last year to give the country some breathing space on its loan obligations.
