The Public Appointments Committee (Pac) of Parliament on Friday cleared boards of directors for Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (Macra) and Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) in the hiring process of their directors-general (DGs).
The boards of the two parastatals have been questioned following the hiring of Brian Banda as MBC DG and his Macra counterpart Mayamiko Nkoloma.
After receiving complaints on the same, Pac summoned board members to come clean on recruitment procedures they undertook.
