Former Malawi Defence Force (MDF) commander general Paul Valentino Phiri (retired) has spent the night in police custody after the Lilongwe Chief Resident Magistrate Court postponed a ruling on his bail application to today.
Phiri is being held at Area 3 Police Station in Lilongwe City following his arrest by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
