FDH Bank on Wednesday rewarded 22 winners with various prizes through its Golden Reunion Promotion.
The highest prize was K500,000 each to two customers.
FDH Bank Money Bureau Managing Director Anthony Chimuna said that the promotion aims to unite the recipient of money in Malawi with remitters.
“We have seen a significant increase in transactions from countries like the UK, Europe, America, South Africa, and others through platforms like Western Union and MoneyGram”, he said.

Chimuna said the promotion also offers opportunities for people working abroad to support their families back home and save money for future use upon returning to Malawi.
The promotion’s grand prizes include a fully paid trip to the sender’s location with $1,000 (K1.8 million) for shopping, monthly prizes of K500,000 to two winners, and 20 percent cash back bonuses to 20 winners every month.
