The Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) has faced delayed and underwhelming government support since the beginning of the government’s financial year, a development analysts have described as anathema to democracy.
During the time, the organisation had important projects that required enough funding such as parliamentary by-elections that were conducted across the country last month.
