Huawei Senior Vice President and President of the European Region Jim Lu has said he sees intelligence opening up new opportunities across the globe in the next decade.
Lu was speaking in Barcelona, Spain, on Sunday evening during the Huawei Cloud Summit held under the theme ‘Accelerate Intelligence with Everything as a Service’. The summit was held ahead of the 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC), which started on Monday and runs up to February 29.
Lu said Huawei hopes to use Information Communication and Technology (ICT) to help global customers and partners unlock the full potential of intelligence.
“Together with so many friends in Europe, we believe we can better support the digital and intelligent transformation of industries,” Lu said.

The Huawei Cloud Summit brought together executives and experts from diverse industries, such as carrier, finance, and Internet.
During the summit, Huawei Cloud presented 10 AI-oriented innovations and extensive industry expertise of Pangu models. Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service President Jacqueline Shi observed that Huawei Cloud is one of the fastest growing cloud service providers in the world.

During the MWC 2024, Huawei Cloud will collaborate with customers and partners to present a wide range of engaging topics, including product and solution launches, Go Cloud Grow Global forum, and Cloud Native Elite Club seminar.
Additionally, innovative products and real-world cases covering Pangu models, GaussDB, data- AI convergence, virtual human and software development will be showcased at the event.
