TNM Super League leaders Silver Strikers have suffered an early setback after leading goal scorer Adiel Kaduya has been ruled out for two weeks due to a foot injury.
Kaduya sustained the injury during the match against Karonga United at Silver Stadium on Saturday.
This means Kaduya has joined Binwell Katinji, Duncan Nyoni, Atusaye Nyondo and Gift Chunga on the injury list.
However, Katinji has started light training ahead of Bullets clash.

Silver Chief Executive Officer Patrick Chimimba said Kaduya went for a scan on Monday.

“He will not be available for two weeks due to the injury. It is a setback for the player and the team,” Chimimba said.
Kaduya has taken the 2024 TNM Super League season by storm after scoring four goals, three behind leading goal scorer Zeliati Nkhoma.
The youngster has also been ruled out of the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principle and Equatorial Guinea.
He will also not be part of the Malawi Under-23 National Team to take part in this year’s Cosafa Cup in South Africa.

Following injuries to four strikers, Silver have remained with Stain Davie and Charles Chipala as recognised centre forwards.
This could be a chance for Christopher Gototo to make his debut after falling behind the perking order since his move from relegated Blue Eagles.
However, Silver Coach Peter Mponda was not readily available for his comment yesterday.
Silver are leading the 16-member log table with 22 points from eight matches.
The Bankers have gone 11 years without winning the TNM Super League title.
They have also gone two consecutive years without winning silverware.
