The 60-day ultimatum given by the Malawi Enterprise Development Fund (Medf) to former National Economic Empowerment Fund (Neef) defaulters to settle their loans expired on Monday, with K189 billion still outstanding.
Medf Chief Executive Officer Kaisi Sadala disclosed this in an interview Tuesday.
Sadala said some clients had cleared their arrears while others had yet to do so.
