FCB Nyasa Big Bullets coach Kalisto Pasuwa has expressed unhappiness with inconsistencies in fixtures for TNM Super League matches.
Pasuwa said the frequent fixture changes are affecting his team’s preparations.
The Zimbabwean was speaking in Blantyre soon after his team’s final preparations ahead of its league match against seventh-placed Moyale Barracks at Mzuzu Stadium on Monday.
“At first, we were told that our game will be played on Sunday, only to learn that it has been shifted to Monday. The same happened in Karonga when we played Chitipa. We were told that we will play two games there but later we were told to return to Blantyre after playing one game. This makes life difficult in terms of preparations,” he said.
Super League of Malawi vice General Secretary Donnex Chilonga said reasons for the changes were explained to Bullets.

“Bullets should not forget that they refused to play on Friday. We did not just choose to shift the match from Sunday to Monday. It is because owners of Mzuzu Stadium had already scheduled an event on Sunday and placing a Super League match at the same venue on the same day would not have worked. So they know why we changed the day of the match,” Chilonga said.
Bullets go into the match against the Lions of Kaning’ina without the services of eight players who are injured.
The list includes defender Collin Mujuru who has just been voted the team’s Player of the Month for April.
Pasuwa said the players have been picking the injuries during games.

“It is tough to play without some of your top stars but I will do with what I have. My players injuries pick in almost each and every game. I really miss the services of these players.
“So, the games continue to take their toll on my players. I have the challenge of bringing in new players into my team for every game. Only one player out of the injured ones sustained an injury during training,” he said.
Bullets will be in Mzuzu without strikers Gasten Phodo and Ephraim Kondowe while defenders Mujuru and Alick Lungu will also miss out.
Midfielders Frank Willard and Mike Mkwate are on light training while goalkeeper Clever Mkungula is also doing some light training alongside Stanley Billiat.
