Winner of the Malawi Has Talent Season II by Goshen City, poet Isaac Kadankowa, has announced that he will hold a free-of-charge show in Blantyre.
Kadankowa outclassed nine other finalists with his poem titled ‘Titukule Malawi’, which speaks volumes of the beauty and potential of the country.
As the winner of the competition, spearheaded by Goshen City through The Times Group’s Times Television, he received K35 million.
“This show is being organised to thank people for voting for me. It is also meant to celebrate with the people this triumph and encourage them to support poetry and other art disciplines and not only music,” Kadankowa said.
The poet said the show would also give him a chance to reach out to the people with other poems.

“I have several poems on the market but I have plans to release an album later this year. People should just watch the space, I will be announcing the date and venue soon,” he said.
Kadankowa said his success showed that poetry was a powerful tool for disseminating important messages.
“The poem ‘Titukule Malawi’ has a powerful message. It was inspired by challenges our country is going through and yet God gave us everything, which we are failing to utilise due to ills such as corruption,” he said.
Goshen City, led by its president, visionaire and founder Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, partnered with The Times Group, pumping K500 million into the competition.

Meanwhile, Workforce Recruitment Agency Managing Director Della Chirombo has donated K2 million to Invisible Dance Crew from Thyolo District.
The group made it to the top three alongside Adobe Dance Crew.
With the one-winner-takes-all approach, Kadankowa pocketed K35 million, with Invisible and Adobe crews getting nothing.
Chirombo utilises her birthday every year to give back to the community.
When she turned 45 years Tuesday, she decided to reach out to Invisible Dance Crew.
“I watched their performance and I was blown away. I thought I should support and encourage them to never quit but keep pushing, for they are good,” she said.
Chirombo called upon people to support them by engaging them during their events.
Invisible Dance Crew has since hailed Chirombo for the K2 million donation, saying it would motivate them to work hard and fashion exceptional dance routines.
Kadankowa and the dancing crews of Invisible and Adobe were also set to perform at the launch of Goshen City hospitality phase in March this year.
