One of the passenger carrier ships for Malawi Lake Service (MLS), MV Mtendere, has partly sunk at Monkey Bay Jetty in Mangochi District.
Officials say security guards at the MLS jetty started noticing that the vessel was sinking at around 2am on Monday, when they alerted management about this.
