Sparc Systems Limited has signed a K30 million agreement with the Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) to design and manage the association’s first professional website.
The signing ceremony took place in Blantyre Wednesday. Sparc Systems Country Manager, Esnor Ward, said the platform would enhance the sport’s visibility and growth, featuring news, player profiles, event schedules, results and development programmes.
“The Queens have proudly represented our nation. They deserve a digital platform that matches their excellence. This website will be a central hub for sponsors, partners and fans,” she said.
Ward said technology is key to driving visibility, growth and opportunities for national sports, adding the website will provide a global platform. “This platform will help transform Malawi’s netball brand into a global force,” Ward said.

The website is expected to be ready by November and will be used to share information, including the upcoming Africa Netball Championship that Malawi will host in December.
Sparc Systems, is a Malawian-owned multinational IT firm with operations in Malawi, Zambia and Rwanda.
Nam Vice President Lumbani Mtonyo described the partnership as a milestone. “This will be our central hub for showcasing netball in Malawi. It will help us share initiatives, engage stakeholders and market the sport more effectively,” he said.
Mtonyo said the platform will also provide space for sponsors’ branding and promotions, giving partners greater visibility and will be launched a month before the tournament to market the event globally and attract spectators, sponsors and media coverage.
