It has been a long expedition of refining, mixing, recording, shooting and consultation for Ndirande Anglican Voices and now the gospel group is contented to finally launch their seventh album titled Ndimamvetsera Kumwamba on Sunday at Comesa Hall in Blantyre.
Having held a listening session for the first time at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre in November last year, the group is determined to continue from there and give people a perfect Easter treat with the launch of the seventh album.
The group’s lead singer Dennis Kalimbe spoke with confidence and smile yesterday: “we have listened to God just like the title track of the album says it all and so, we are good to go”.
He said for the first time since their existence they have partnered with Times Group to give people what he described as a “unique and massive launch”.
“We thank God for the grace. We have done our part, God has done his part and now we have to launch the album.

We are thankful to Times Group for coming in and hold our hands; we do not take this for granted,” Kalimbe said.
He described Ndimamvetsera Kumwamba whose title track continues to enjoy airplay as a unique album.
“The title track has preached to many people, who lost hope, the support that people have shown us tells it all that this is a good album. God will always be God and does things at the right time but what is needed is for us as human beings to listen to him,” Kalimbe said.
He said their journey as Ndirande Anglican Voices has been full of ups and downs but they have kept their stature to be where they are today.

“People should come in large numbers and praise God on the day. It is not for Anglican Church members but for everyone and it is all about the benefits of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. This is also a gift to the people this Easter period,” Kalimbe said.

During the launch, Ndirande Anglican Voices will share the stage with The Great Angels Choir, Shammah Vocals, Miracle Chinga, Stevie Wazisomo Muliya, Favoured Martha and Mlaka Maliro.
