Football Legends Association (FLA) Thursday sworn in the association’s vice president Noel Lipipa.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at FLA offices at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
Lipipa said his ambition was to support legends in the country.
“We thought of coming up with the association to improve the welfare of former football players. We believe we have taken the right direction,” Lipipa said.
Last week, FLA also sworn in some of the key members of the association, including chairperson Jim Kalua, second vice chairperson Justin Saidi, general secretary Solomon Gomezgani Mchawi, Peterkins Kayira, Young Chimodzi, Rashid Ntelera, Victor Msowoya, Anthony Msendema, Ashraf Partridge and Khumbo Phiri.

Currently, Kinnah Phiri is only trustee yet to take oath of office. Kalua said Kinnah could not take part in decision-making processes until he takes oath of office.
The association recently hosted its first ever annual general meeting (AGM) at Ufulu Gardens in Lilongwe.
Meanwhile, Kalua has announced that the legends will host Zambia in an international friendly match at BNS on December 28.
This will be the second match between the two legends. Initially, the legends were expected to host South Africa but Kalua said the Bafana Bafana legends had not confirmed yet as of Thursday.
