Mighty Wanderers are interested in signing experienced striker Muhammad Sulumba in the ongoing player transfer window.
This comes days after the striker was linked with a return to Creck Sporting Club.
Wanderers have identified Sulumba as a short-term solution to their blunt striking force.

Wanderers Chief Executive Officer Panganeni Ndovi could neither deny nor confirm the development Tuesday. “Wanderers are always linked to so many players. We are not surprised that we are linked with our former striker. Sulumba has a lot of experience that any team would want to tap from,” Ndovi said.
The Nomads are looking at bolstering their striking force ahead of Caf Confederations Cup participation, having being drawn against Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy in the first preliminary round.

Cameroonian striker Sama Tanjong, Clement Nyondo and Gaddie Chirwa are all out due to injuries.
Ndovi said Sama could soon return to action, having started light training.
Currently, Blessings Mwalilino and Promise Kamwendo are the only fit strikers but the pair has struggled in front of goal in recent matches.
Sulumba said he was yet to decide on his next destination.

“Both Wanderers and Creck have not approached me but I am ready to play for Wanderers or Creck,” he said.
Sulumba parted ways with Libyan outfit Al Nasr Zliten recently following the expiry of his season-long contract.
He scored seven goals but the club did not renew his contract after its foreign quota was full.
Meanwhile, Creck Chairperson Muhammad Selemani has said the club has not reached an agreement with the player.
“He was our player. We approached him but no deal has been agreed,” he said.
He added that the club had signed Silver Strikers’ forward Patrick Macheso on a six-month loan deal.
