The National Organisation of Nurses and Midwives of Malawi (Nonm) has reiterated its call to government to consider recruiting additional nurses and midwives to support those working in the civil service, saying low staffing levels are negatively impacting service delivery.
Nonm president Shouts Simeza made the appeal Tuesday at Nsanje Youth Centre grounds in the Shire Valley district during the commemoration of International Nurses Day.
