FCB Nyasa Big Bullets defender Precious Sambani and midfielder Chawanagwa Gumbo have a reason to smile after they won the Precious Medical International best goal awards for the month of November and December 2023, respectively.
Interestingly, both goals were scored in Castel Challenge Cup matches.
Sambani scored the fourth goal as Bullets hammered Ekwendeni Hammers 4-0 in the quarter-finals at Kamuzu Stadium in December.
Gumbo scored Bullets’ goal in the 2-0 victory over Lipulumundu in the round-of-64 at the same venue.
After receiving the award in Blantyre Wednesday, Sambani said he was motivated.

“I did not expect to win it because my teammates also scored good goals,” he said.
Taking his turn, Gumbo said the best was yet to come from him.
“I will continue working hard to help the team next season,” Gumbo said.
Precious Medical International Sales and Marketing Manager Daniel Ngwira said the awards were aimed at motivating players.
