Premier Bet Malawi has contributed K10 million to the Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) in support of the forthcoming Africa Netball Cup, scheduled for December 8 to 14 in Lilongwe.
After handing over the donation in Limbe Township, Blantyre, the company’s Community Manager, Hamza Mgaye, said the gesture forms part of Premier Bet’s continued commitment to promoting sports development in Malawi.
“Our support for this championship is not just about the event but about developing the game and giving our players and fans a platform to shine on the continental stage,” he said.
Mgaye added that the contribution reflects the company’s belief in the power of sport to unite and empower communities.

He said the gesture also aligns with Premier Bet’s broader community development agenda, which seeks to uplift local talent and promote national pride through sport.
Nam president Vitumbiko Gubuduza said the contribution will significantly help with logistical and operational expenses involved in hosting a continental competition.
“Hosting the Africa Netball Cup requires significant resources and this donation will help us ensure that the tournament meets international standards,” she said.
She revealed that almost 11 countries have confirmed their participation in the competition.
