The Malawi National Netball Team has reiterated its desire to qualify for the 2027 Netball World Cup.
The Queens are in Nairobi, Kenya, where they would face a crucial test at the 2026 Africa Netball Cup.
The tournament, scheduled for September 19 to 26, 2026, will also serve as the qualification pathway for the 2027 Netball World Cup.
Malawi is chasing one of the two remaining World Cup qualification places after South Africa and Uganda already secured their berths.

The Queens departed Malawi on Sunday through Bakili Muluzi Airport in Blantyre.
Speaking at a press briefing at Queens House in Blantyre City, Queens coach Debbie Fuller said the recent Glasgow Commonwealth Games had provided valuable preparation for the high-stakes assignment.
“The Glasgow Games was a perfect preparation for us,” she said.
Fuller said the Glasgow experience was a perfect opportunity for the team to test itself against quality opposition, identify areas that need improvement and build confidence ahead of the Africa Cup.
