A verbal war between the governing Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) escalated further Sunday, with MCP accusing DPP of interfering with the Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) system.
MCP’s presidential running mate in the September 16 elections, Vitumbiko Mumba, made the accusation during a press briefing in Lilongwe.
