Malawi’s public universities are increasingly adopting online learning, raising concerns that the shift is being used to ease overcrowding while transferring the cost of accessing education to students.
The move comes as public universities continue to struggle with rising enrolment following the introduction of double intakes, which have increased pressure on lecture rooms, laboratories, hostels and other facilities
