TNM Super League teams have intensified preparations for the 2024 season which kicks off on March 30.
The season will officially roll into action with a match between quadruple winners FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Silver Strikers at a venue yet to be confirmed.
This will be followed by the start of the Super League on April 6.
Despite their success last season where they managed a clean sweep of all trophies on offer, Bullets have shown a lot of seriousness in their preparations with training camps in Mangochi and Dowa districts.
The People’s Team is currently in Mponela where it will play two training matches at Champion Stadium.

The first one is against Dzaleka-based Kalembelembe FC this afternoon while Chatoloma Admarc of Kasungu will be their second opponents tomorrow.
This is an opportunity for Kalisto Pasuwa to assess his new recruits ahead of the 2024 season.
The newcomers are former Civil Service United playmaker Lloyd Aaron, goalkeeper Innocent Nyasulu from Mighty Tigers and striker Babatunde Adepoju who returned to the club on loan from Venda Academy in South Africa.
Sleeping giants Silver Strikers will play their first pre-season friendly match against fellow Super League side Mafco at Silver Stadium this afternoon.

New coach Peter Mponda said the match will be a perfect opportunity to assess his charges.
’’We believe the team is getting closer to where we want it to be but we must gauge ourselves against a strong side like Mafco. We have our expectations but we are not asking for too much from the players considering that this is our first friendly match,’’ Mponda said.
The former South African side Black Leopards coach has bolstered his team with several new players such as George Chikooka from Chitipa United, the Blue Eagles duo of MacDonald Lameck and Christopher Gototo, Civo’s Binwell Katinji and Charles Chipala of Dedza Dynamos.
Another top team in the elite league, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, is also leaving no stone unturned in its preparations for the new season.
Wanderers defeated Southern Region Football Association League Division One side champions Ekhaya FC 7-0 in new coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan’s first practice match recently.
The Nomads finished the 2023 season empty-handed under Briton Mark Harrison but are hoping for a better season after signing Blessings Singini from Ekwendeni Hammers, Dedza Dynamos’ Clement Nyondo, Timothy Swilimba of Civo and Chimwemwe Nkhoma from Eagles Strikers.
Civo started their pre-season friendlies with a 2-1 victory over Kamuzu Barracks on Thursday.
The Civil Servants’ coach Abasi Makawa said he was impressed with his players’ attitude.
’’We started training some two weeks ago but the players are eager to play,’’ Makawa said.
Newly promoted Super League teams Creck Sporting Club, formerly Kawinga FC, Baka City and Fomo FC have also been busy with friendly matches ahead of the season.
