Officials from Multichoice Africa Wednesday visited The Times Group head offices in Blantyre, where they expressed commitment to continue working with the country’s oldest media house.
Multichoice’s Senior Manager for Content Strategy Melisi Sibsi said the tour was part of their engagement with their local partners.
“We needed to meet all our partners who are available on our platforms. What is important is to tell Malawian stories and we depend on these partners to do that. Our meeting with officials from The Times Group focused on our relationships, producing content in Malawi, and also on challenges the industry is facing and how we can help,” he said.
Times Television Station Manager Wonder Msiska said the meeting was significant.

“We talked about capacity building, notably through Multichoice Talent Factory, that the firm has been providing. Such trainings help us understand how we can produce our content. In the digital world, there is a need for continued learning so that one can be in the game,” Msiska said.
The visitors toured Times Television and Radio studios.
