Former Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba spent a second night in police custody after law enforcement officers failed to present her in court Thursday to formally charge her.
Zamba, who was arrested on Wednesday at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) as she prepared to board a flight on her way to Switzerland, was expected to appear in court in the afternoon.
However, prosecutors informed her legal team around 4pm that proceedings would not go ahead.
