Bridge Afric President Victoria Okong jetted into the country through Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe on Wednesday promising to help advance the creative sector in the country.
Okong is among the international delegates attending the Bridge Afric Southern Africa launch workshop to be held at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe on Saturday.
The event to feature workshops and performances has been organised by Jacobs Events led by its chief executive officer Wendy Harawa and Bridge Afric.
“This workshop is vital and it will go a long way in contributing to the promotion of Malawi’s music economy. I am excited to be here and I am looking forward to connecting with creatives here,” Okong, who has worked in over 40 countries around the world in the entertainment sector, said.
