The country has registered six roads fatalities during the Easter period, which spanned from Friday to Sunday, the Malawi Police Service (MPS) has said.
MPS deputy spokesperson Superintendent Alfred Chimthere confirmed the development.
“There were 30 road accidents registered, with six fatalities. Eleven people died during the same period last year, which represents a 46 percent decrease in the rate of road accidents,” he said.
