FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Moyale Barracks shared a point each in a goalless draw during a TNM Super League match at Mzuzu Stadium yesterday.
The result saw Bullets reducing the gap with leaders Silver Strikers to eight points.
The People’s Team lies fourth on the table with 14 points from eight games whereas Silver have amassed 22 points from same number of games.
Despite yesterday being a working day, a big crowd thronged the match venue to witness the encounter which saw Bullets registering their fourth draw whereas Moyale chalked their fifth.

It was a pressing game as both teams played an attacked and created scoring opportunities but they all went in vain with Bullets striker Babatunde Adepoju missing while Moyale’s Brown Magaga shot off target on several occasions.
Raphael Phiri scored for Moyale with an unstoppable shot that caught Bullets goalkeeper Innocent Nyasulu off-guard but referee Newton Nyirenda ruled the goal offside.
In the second half, Bullets were all over with their talisman Patrick Mwaungulu getting a chance to break the deadlock but the hosts’ goalkeeper Simeon Harawa denied him to end the match square.
Bullets coach Kallisto Pasuwa said it was worrisome for his charges to miss scoring opportunities.

“The chances we had were enough for us to win this game but we did not utilise them. Defensively we were great and we managed to contain their attackers. We need to go back to the drawing board and find ways of converting the chances we create,” Pasuwa said.
His Moyale counterpart Pritchard Mwansa also said they need to work on their striking force.
“Our target was to collect three points over Bullets at home but we have failed despite putting up a gallant fight. Yes we are playing good football but we need good results,” Mwansa said.
Following the draw, Moyale have moved from 10th position to sixth with 11 points
