The dispute between the Football Association of Malawi (Fam) and Super League of Malawi (Sulom) over regulatory authority has thrown the domestic league into turmoil, with questions mounting about who has ultimate power to enforce stadium regulations and governance rules.
The conflict will come to a head this coming Saturday, when Fam formally hears charges against its affiliate, Sulom, following the cancellation of a Mighty Wanderers match against Karonga United over stadium licensing issues.
