The efficiency of the newly launched ‘Mpamba Khadi’ e-ticketing innovation will be put to test when FCB Nyasa Big Bullets host bitter archrivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in a TNM Super League match at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre Saturday.
TNM Head of Brand and Marketing Madalitso Jonazi said the Blantyre derby represents a spectacular convergence of entertainment, football and business, driving commercial value and excitement in the country, hence the need to embrace the innovation.
“TNM has revolutionised fan convenience with the introduction of e-ticketing, a groundbreaking innovation that eliminates the need for physical tickets.
“Fans can now effortlessly buy their tickets using Mpamba, receive them directly on their phones and seamlessly tap using Mpamba Khadi Mbambande at the stadium gates,” Jonazi said.
He said the innovation will eliminate long queues or worries about lost paper tickets.

“These are some of the things that characterise the derby. Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all football enthusiasts. The e-ticketing system promises a much-improved experience for football spectators at the derby, ensuring a convenient, hassle-free and secure entry process.
“Derbies often draw large crowds, resulting in long queues at the entrance. However, with e-ticketing, fans can now avoid delays and enjoy a seamless entry experience, allowing them to focus on the excitement of the game,” Jonazi said.
He said the transition to e-ticketing offers numerous benefits to Super League stakeholders, including reduced paper waste, streamlined entry processes, enhanced security and a more efficient use of resources.
Wanderers Chief Executive Officer Panganeni Ndovi welcomed the Mpamba Card, describing it as an effective way of entering into the stadium.
