TNM Super League side Blue Eagles’ free fall continues, with things going from bad to worse.
In their current state, Eagles need a life support machine to survive relegation in the 2023 season.
And in a desperate move to address their woes, management has called for a crisis meeting at Area 30 Tuesday.
Eagles have given out poor performances in all competitions this season and do not look like a team that can win silverware.
Their woes were compounded with a 1-0 loss to Moyale Barracks at Nankhaka Ground on Saturday.

This has surely sent some shocking waves in the policemen’s camp, forcing authorities to press the panic button.
Eagles Chairperson Alex Simenti confirmed calling for the meeting tomorrow.
“We are really puzzled. We have no option but to call for an emergency meeting. We are doing everything by providing support to the players but the results are not coming our way,’’ Simenti said.
After the 1-0 loss to Moyale, frustrated Eagles supporters stopped the players from boarding the team’s bus.

The supporters’ reaction may, indeed, be justified as Eagles have played eight matches without a win.
Out of the eight, they have lost six and drawn two.
The last time Eagles won a match was on June 24, when they beat Mafco 1-0 at Chitowe Stadium.
Coach Elia Kananji likened his side to a sinking ship.
“I have no idea about what is happening. This is too much. We will, therefore, not train on Tuesday because the players will be in a meeting with the executive committee,’’ Kananji said.
The meeting comes at a time Eagles are expected to host Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at Nankhaka Stadium this weekend.
The cops have 12 matches to save their season. They are currently second from bottom on the 16-team table with 17 points from 18 matches.
Eagles’ dip in form is puzzling for a team that finished second, to champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, with 63 points in the 2022 season.
