Six police officers convicted of the murder of Buleya Lule are believed to be among the 222 inmates pardoned by President Peter Mutharika as part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations, some highly placed government sources have confided in The Daily Times.
Some of the convicts have reportedly been spotted walking freely on the streets of Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe.
