TNM Super League leaders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will this afternoon be hoping to exorcise the demons that have been haunting them when they face Civil Service United at Civo Stadium.
Bullets have failed to collect maximum points against Civil in the league away from home for the past two seasons.
Last season, Bullets gave away a 2-0 lead as Civil fought back to snatch a stalemate in the league.
In 2023, Civil and Bullets also shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw.
The two teams go into the match separated by 17 points as Bullets lead the 16-member log table with 27 points from 10 matches whereas Civil are stuck in the relegation zone with 10 points from the same number of matches.

At this stage, Bullets have only dropped points when they lost 1-0 to second-placed Mighty Wanderers at Kamuzu Stadium.
On the other hand, Civil have had a difficult start to the season having won two matches, lost four and drawn four.

But both sides registered wins in their respective matches in the league last week, after Bullets edged Ekhaya 1-0 whereas Civil defeated Creck Sporting Club 2-0 in the league.
Bullets Coach Peter Mponda believes his charges have what it takes to get three points this afternoon.

“It is a difficult place where we have not won for the past two years. But the guys have been training very well and we have got a positive feeling,” Mponda said.
Bullets are without playmaker Mike Mkwate and full-back Chrispin Mapemba whereas Wongani Lungu is also doubtful for the match.
On his part, Civil Coach Abasi Makawa said he is banking on a good home record against Bullets.
“We expect a tough match but the players are eager to win. We have to double our efforts,” Makawa said.
In another match, Songwe Border United will host Kamuzu Barracks at Karonga Stadium.
Action will continue as Wanderers will face Ekhaya at Kamuzu Stadium Sunday.
