Civil Service United Coach Abbas Makawa has described his team’s FDH Bank Premiership match against Ekhaya FC as a tough assignment.
The two teams are scheduled to meet at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe Saturday.
Fresh from Sunday’s 1-0 win against Goshen City Dedza Dynamos at Dedza Stadium in their second match of the season, Civil are hosting Ekhaya, who have dropped four points in their opening two matches.
The Cowboys are enduring tough times, having lost 2-1 to Blue Eagles before collecting just a point in their 1-1 draw with Red Lions.
Makawa described the Blantyre-based Ekhaya as wounded buffaloes, saying they would be in Lilongwe for a win.

“But I remain confident that we will get positive results from this match. I t will be a different m a t c h with a different approach as well. My boys have been responding well to training after resuming their preparations on Tuesday. We are, therefore, looking forward to cruising to the top of the log table by the end of Saturday’s matches.
“This is a big game, indeed, and we need to be cautious. Of course, we did well in Dedza but that is now water under the bridge. I have challenged my boys to prove that they are ready to fight for honours this season by beating Ekhaya. As such, we have done our homework and are ready for battle,” he said.
Lying third on the table with four points from two matches, Civil will be hoping to dislodge leaders Silver Strikers with victory over Ekhaya, who will be looking forward to claiming their first win of the season.
In the aftermath of their stalemate against Red Lions at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre, Ekhaya suspended their coach Enos Chatama.
