Banks say they are impressed with the surge in digital financial services uptake in the country.
In an interview, Lyness Nkungula, Chief Executive for Bankers Association of Malawi—an umbrella body for the country’s eight banks—said there is a rise in digital financial transactions which signals growing trust in formal payment systems among the public.
