FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have replaced former vice president Fleetwood Haiya with Escort Chinula.
Haiya automatically relinquished his post after becoming Super League of Malawi president last year and, later, Football Association of Malawi boss.
Bullets have also appointed Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) former president Khungekile Madise as a member of their board of directors responsible for women’s football.
Chinula and Madise are among the names appearing on a list of board of directors made public Thursday.
According to the list, Konrad Buckle remains the club’s president, with Yasin Domasi being roped in as legal practioner. Harold Mwayang’ana is the club’s finance and administration director with Mphatso Kamzingeni Zulu taking up the role of supporters development.
Also on the list is Isabel Masi Kachinjika, who is the marketing and communication director.
The club’s sports health and education director is Demo Kalaitzis while Everson Mchacha is the partnership director.
Jason Bowler is also in the board and he will be responsible for football development.
Madise said she felt honoured and privileged to be part of the board.
“I am therefore very ready to work with Bullets in achieving the club’s commercialisation goals. I am excited to be part of this wonderful team.
“I do not take this appointment for granted because there are many women out there who could have been considered for this position. So this is an honour to me personally and I am looking forward to working with Bullets,” she said.
