FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have said they will not give away the league title this season.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer Suzgo Nyirenda made the remarks during the unveiling ceremony of the team’s 2024 uniform.
Nyirenda said their opponents should not be fooled by their slow start to the season, which saw them collecting two points from two matchers.
Bullets started the season with a 1-1 draw with Dedza Dynamos before firing blanks in a barren stalemate with Mighty Wakawaka Tigers.
But Nyirenda said the unveiling of the new kit should send a strong message to other teams about their intentions to continue dominating local football.

“Our supporters have been asking for the replicas of the new kit and here we are, unveiling them. These are home, away and neutral uniforms. They are nice jerseys and, for sure, our fans will love them.
“Let me now warn those who are saying that we will not do anything worthwhile this season to mind their own business. Yes we might not win all trophies as we did last season but they will sweat to win any of them. We are hopeful that the technical team will take this challenge seriously and deliver in line with our expectations,” he said.
Nyirenda also said they ventured into a partnership with Admiral Sportswear Company for the manufacture of their jerseys.
“This is a technical sponsorship and we are happy that they are giving us good items. We also have several partners and let me thank them for being part of the team,” he said.

FCB Head of Marketing and Communication Twikale Chirwa urged Bullets supporters to buy the jerseys and patronise the team’s matches in large numbers.
“I believe the new kit will help the club to maximise revenue in a bid to cement the commercialisation drive. This jersey is of high quality and we have no doubt that our fans will go for it in their large numbers. Our partnership with Bullets is very cordial and we are optimistic that, this year, the team will also perform very well,” Chirwa said.
Bullets have unveiled red jerseys as their home kit, with red and white being the away kit while pink will be neutral.
Bullets have five points in the league from three matches and are on position six on the log table.
The People’s Team takes on Baka City at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre tomorrow after a 3-0 hammering of Chitipa United on Sunday.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers are leading the table with seven points from three matches followed by Silver Strikers, with seven points from a similar number of matches.
