The Ministry of Agriculture says it will use manual coupons to identify beneficiaries of the 2026-27 Farm Inputs Subsidy Programme (Fisp), which is expected to be launched in early September.
The move replaces the electronic system that used digital databases, mobile redemption applications and National Identity cards to verify names of beneficiaries and process transactions.
