An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission team is back in the country— three months after the last visit—for policy negotiations regarding a possible Extended Credit Facility (ECF) programme with Malawi.
Ministry of Finance spokesperson Williams Banda confirmed yesterday that the team, which is set to engage government officials including those from the Treasury and the Reserve Bank of Malawi, arrives in the country between Monday and Tuesday.
