The Kangankunde rare earths project in Balaka is expected to begin producing monazite concentrate in the fourth quarter of 2026, as construction and mining activities gather pace.
Australia-listed Lindian Resources Limited, which is developing the project, said front-end commissioning was targeted for late October while practical completion was expected in November.
