A day after the Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (Mera) adjusted fuel pump prices, minibus operators in the country have started raising passenger fares.
Mera announced the increase of fuel prices on Tuesday, with petrol now selling at K3,449 per litre, up from K2,530, and the price of diesel increasing from K2,734 to K3,500.
