National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) giants Kansas City Current have said the return of United States (US)-based Malawi Women’s National Football Team striker Temwa Chawinga is still unclear.
This comes at a time Temwa and US winger Michelle Cooper have not started pre-season with Kansas, having been placed on the season-ending injury (SEI) list.
Current new coach Chris Armas is quoted by the New York Times as saying the two players need more time to recover ahead of the new season.
